Hygge

This board is my attempt to identify "my style" for the home of my dreams. The word "hygge" is a Danish adjective meaning warmth, coziness, brightness, friendliness. If I am wrong about that, please someone correct me! Those words all sum up what I want my home to feel like. Hygge is different for each person but to me it always involves 3 basic elements: wood (especially danish teak, hard wood floors), lot's of natural light and splashes of colours & textures. Ecclectic, I suppose.
