[JP/KR/TW] White Day ホワイトデー on Mar. 14th was first celebrated in 1978 in Japan. It was started by the confectionery company, promoting men to buy their marshmallows as the return gift for Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14th). Nowadays, some of the major sweets has its own meanings as a gift: 1) Marshmallows-“Sorry, I am not interested in you!” 2) Cookies-“You are my good friend!” 3) Candies-“I love you too!”
