Oita - Japan
Ōita (大分県) is a Japanese prefecture located on the east
part of the island of Kyūshū. The prefecture is surrounded by Miyazaki, Kumamoto and Fukuoka prefectures. Oita is known as the most important place for the production of kabosu, which is a citrus fruit, and also for being a nice pklace to visit, with its onsens and historical towns !

Beppu - Oita Prefecture
Beppu - 別府 - is a volcanic Japanese town in Oita prefecture, on the island of Kyushu in the south of the archipelago. Beppu is very famous for its abundant hot springs, built like a sort of pressure cooker from which smoke from onsen is emitted all over the city. Enjoy a "jigoku meguri" walk that will take you to the city's infernos, which are colourful and impressive hot springs. Try a steaming meal in the onsen and a bath in a ryokan or a public onsen, or even a hot sand bath !
