Creating new silver jewelry by recycling myscrap silver materials

Needed supplies
• Silver scraps
• .99 fine silver for casting* I use 50% each scrap & fine silver)
• Large bucket filled with cold water
• Glass pie pan or bowl at the bottom of bucket
• Torch reaching hot enough temperature to melt silver( I used MAPP with bernzomatic adjustable flame control)
• Crucible with handle
• Borax powder
• Long leather protective welding gloves
• Protective eye wear
• Spaghetti, rock salt, beans or peas in tin can for other casting options besides water
