Despite the sun, this was a very cold winter's afternoon down at the rail-yard. I had actually asked for and was given permission by some rail employees to get close and shoot these locomotives in action.... Honestly, I don't think the guys who told me it was okay to stand on tracks in front of moving trains coming right at me had the proper authority to do so.
