Metric: 39x49 cm Hand-painted artwork. Japanese maple tree branch painting with late autumn dragonfly. Ink and watercolour on rice paper. This particular artwork was inspired by the woodblock prints of Edo and colours of the fall. Maple trees are a traditional subject in Japanese art. Colourful maple festivals are celebrated throughout Japan from October to December, rivalling in popularity with sakura hanami (cherry blossoms in spring). The painting is wet-mounted on another sheet of backing paper, signed, sealed with my personal seal and ready to be framed or mounted on a scroll. Please use acid-free adhesives when framing.The painting is manually cut, please leave a few mm error margin for dimensions. Colours may differ due to differences in devices.
