Many students struggle to have their needs met over school breaks. Use this activity with students who may struggle over the Christmas/Winter break while they are away from supportive school personnel and peers. Students identify their physiological, safety, love/belonging, self-esteem, and actualization needs (Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs), focusing on how they can have their needs met over the holiday break. Includes instructions, optional prompt/script, craft printables, and simple visual aids. Suggested use: use this activity individually or in small groups as a writing or art therapy activity. Students can write paragraphs, lists, or simple words or create symbols/images, use magazine cut-outs, etc. to express their needs. ***Find this resource and more in my December product pack!*** You might be interested in my other Christmas resources!
