Kon-Tiki (2012) - Post-WWII, the world was weary of war and looking for heroes. It found one in explorer Thor Heyerdahl, a Norwegian adventurer who aims to show that Polynesia could have been settled from the east, not the west as traditionally believed. To test his theory, he sets out from Peru across 4,300 miles of the Pacific on a balsa-wood raft. You'll be drawn in by the story and the beautiful photography. Check it out.
