Sweet Pea (Lathyrus latifolius) Perennial Pea, Everlasting Pea. Vine to 6' long. Uses petiole-terminating tendrils to climb. Pink to magenta butterfly-like blossoms with a lower keel of two fused petals below, and two wing petals above, on smooth, unwinged pedicels. A non-native species, can be weedy & invasive, as seen by its spread to almost every state.
