GOLDEN WEEK: MAKE SOME TIME TO ENJOY THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES THIS SPRING!
Golden Week or Ogon Shukan is the period between April 29th to May 5th where four of Japan’s 15 holidays fall perfectly into place. First we jump into Showa Day or Showa no hi, then follow up with Constitution Memorial Day or Kenpo Kinenbi. Greenery Day or Midori no Hi is the next day and finally we close up Golden Week with Children’s Day or Kodomo no Hi. This might be a bit of a mouthful – don’t worry as I’ll give you a brief overview of each holiday.
