Diminutive Westerwald Stoneware Chamberpot, 17th century, ovoid form with heavily-tooled shoulder and tall, curving rim, decorated with molded lions with crowns flanking a seal containing a shield with stars. Surface decorated with cobalt highlights.

A SOUTHWARK DELFT DATED BLUE AND WHITE MUG 1630, PROBABLY CHRISTIAN WILHELM, PICKLEHERRING QUAY Of tall cylindrical form with swelling top rim and base and angular loop handle, boldly painted with 'bird-on-rock' decoration with four birds falling from the sky above and flanked by stylised flowering plants, a flourish and the date 1630 beneath the handle, between borders of concentric line and diagonal dash and dot-ornament 9¾ in. (24.8 cm.) high
