SHEPARD, Ernest H. - Original drawing "Pooh Meets a Heffalump" - Original artwork used to illustrate the chapter "In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump" on page 62 of "Winnie-the-Pooh". With Shepard's pencilled caption. Pooh and Piglet set out to capture a "heffalump" by leaving a pot of honey in a hole in the ground, and both spend a sleepless night imagining what the heffalump will be like. Provenance: from the collection of Pat McInally.
