An early 20th century sapphire and diamond brooch pendant The openwork plaque of fine knife-wire, millegrain set brilliant and single-cut diamond detail, its centre issuing a stylised scroll of similarly set diamonds and calibré-cut sapphires, to an oval mixed-cut sapphire drop, diamonds approx. 4.00ct. total, length 8.0cm.
Gold, silver, and diamond brooch, set with an octagonal sapphire engraved with the arms of Johann Hugo von Orsbeck (1634-1711), appointed Archbishop Prince Elector of Trier, 13 July, and Bishop of Speyer, 16 July 1676, Abbot of Prum and Provost of Weissenburg.
