Patricia Urquiola's poetically contemporary "Shimmer" table is brilliant in both its concept and physicality. Made from iridescent glass with a multicolored finish, the small tripodal table reacts with light, which allows its surface to seemingly change hue depending on your vantage point.
Exceptional lines on this piece. Graceful curves. The back and seat look like the hourglass shape of the body of a women and the arms of the chair look as if she has her hands on her hips. The legs even taper like feet. Might be a Hans Wegner piece.
