For the Italian festival Meeting del Mare , art collective Incipit created a wire mesh sculpture as a public art installation. Built by hand, the translucent structure is located on the waterfront of Marina Do Camerota in Italy. The site-specific installation is curated by artist Edoardo Tresoldi together with Simone Pallotta and Antonio Oriente. It’s the latest of a series of Tresoldi’s sculptures using wire mesh. Edward Tresoldi is a production designer, sculptor, painter, fitter - has an artistic approach and creative research and free. With 9 years old took his first drawing lessons from the Milanese painter Mario Straforini, later studied design and visual arts at the Art Institute of Monza. In 2009 he moved to Rome and began work as a scene painter for various film projects. The scene becomes a laboratory for experimentation. In 2011 he took part in the project Madeon (Roman collective of artists and professionals of various kinds operating in the audiovisual) which signed the first works by scenographer. From 2013 he makes sculptures and installations on the network. DESIGN GALLERIST will continue to give you fantastic news on the art and design world.
