68 years ago yesterday (May 8th) people, across the nation and even more so in Europe, celebrated the end of a fascist revolution and the European front of World War II. Nearly 47,000,000+ servicemen and women and civilians lost their lives as a result of the war in Europe. WWII was the turning point for the world and even today influences how societies across the world are ran.
