A Fabergé diamond and enamel brooch, workmaster Alfred Thielemann, St Petersburg, 1904-1908, centred with an oval-cut diamond on a convex ground of translucent pale pink enamel over sunburst engine-turning within rose- and circular-cut diamonds, the surmount of tied leaf sprays, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 80020 or 89029.
JADEITE, COLOURED SAPPHIRE, RUBY AND DIAMOND 'PEACOCK' BROOCH Designed as a peacock, set with nine pear-shaped jadeites of intense emerald green colour and fine translucency, decorated by circular-cut and pear-shaped sapphires, the body pavé-set with circular-cut diamonds, suspending numerous coloured sapphire briolettes, the sapphires, coloured sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 1.25, 7.80 and 1.80 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
