Tige and Richard S. Barker as Buster Brown around 1910. Barker was the first child to portray Buster Brown for the Brown Shoe company. (All the previous actors had been little people.) Barker toured the country with his widowed mother from 1908 to 1914 performing shows as Buster.
Two German railway guns (named Robert & Leopold by the Germans) were used to shell the Anzio beachhead. They had a 20 mile range. Both guns were captured by the 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Div., on June 7, 1944. US Soldiers called them Anzio Annie.
