15 is a nice nice coffee from Jacobsen and Svart (again): Ethiopian Bokasso. First I just love the name: BOKASSO! It's just so fun to say. Lots of fun to drink too! I like how the notes on the @kaffebox description differ than those on the Jacobsen and Svart site. Kaffebox says that some of the flavors are a bit blurry because of it being late in the season which I can kinda taste. None of the flavors stood out to me at something very specific but rather just simply red apples and sweet…

Day 22. No pictures of the coffee or the process but pictures of some grinder cleaning. I love my #orphanespresso Lido 1 but to take it apart and clean it is a huge pain. I try to take it sort and clean about every other month or so. Sometimes when I take it apart the burrs shift and I have to find a new zero point but it's built like a tank. I don't think I would ever need to replace it. Such is the trade off. Anyway this #kaffeboxjul is the Kieni Kenya from @coffeecollectif. Super nice…

On the seventh day of advent @kaffebox gave to me... The Colombia Astrid Medina from @jacucoffeeroastery. Brewed this up in the @the_chemex and @ablebrewing and did some aeropressing. It was juicy for sure and a little tangy. Jacu says gooseberries. While Ive had gooseberry jam it was a long time ago and probably not the best representation of what gooseberries actually taste like. So Ill just have to agree with Jacu on this one. There was also a flavor in there that could be linked in…

So I know I'm late but I wanted to get the last one in before the new year (central time zone). The last coffee of the @kaffebox advent calendar was the Panama La Esmeralda Geisha roasted by @coffeecollectif. This geisha was really tasty but honestly the aeropress doesn't really do it just justice especially when you use a two person recipe. this geisha was one that had most of the qualities I expect from a Panama geisha but not explosive. Which is ok. Anyway this #kaffeboxjul advent…

Day fourteen features a big batch o chemex and the Colombian Finca El Roble roasted by @supremeroastworks. The body on this is big and full. I didnt get anything particularly juicy but body was really mouth filling especially for a Colombian. Huge melon note (reminds me of cantaloupe). In a way this coffee reminds me of the Colombian Monte Verde Wush Wush except without the florals. Thanks to @xmelissalauren for the shot and making the coffee! She sometimes makes a better chemex than me…

Breakfast of champions. Today's #kaffeboxjul @kaffebox was the Kiriaini Teresia AA from Kenya roasted by @damatteo in Gothenburg. Nice flavors here and super enjoyable. Got some red berries maybe but definitely a kinda veggie note (I've heard tomato to describe some Kenyans before). Tastes good iced with the @ablebrewing disk fine too. #coffee #aeropress #nice by atlippold

@lippekaffe is at it again with No. 15: Rwanda Nyaruzina. This coffee was fully made on the road with my travel set up. I got some tropical citrus notes but honestly not much else. I think that the coffee didnt really open up for me because of the outside brewing. When the temperature is cold outside it provides some obvious challenges with brew temperature. I would love to try this coffee again with some indoor conditions. brewed outside on the ground and inside the car trunk. Anyone…
