Narrow Boat Dane is one of the limited fleet of wooden boats built for the Mersey Weaver Ship and Canal Carrying Company. It has the traditional dimensions 70’ long and 6’11” wide. It is powered by a Lister JP2 1947 engine and draws two feet. If I had the money I would love to buy and restore this historically important boat.

The FMC narrowboat 'Seal' is on the canal in front of 'Amesbury', there are boat people on the cabin including Mrs Walley. Industrial buildings and Brentford School can be seen in the background.
