Joseph Burhosky 2: In the early 19th century, a process of developing photos know as Wet Plate Collodion was invented. Today, it’s not practiced all that much: most photographers choose to hone in on the art of photographic perfection, rather than imperfection. Wet Plate is more about letting nature take its course, with each image taking one hour to complete. No point and shoot here, folks. Joe Burhosky is one of the only photographers to continue the 19th century art.
