Bodice (detail, front) of a Beetle Wing dress 1865-1875. The 5 piece dress is owned by the "Oudheidkamer Enschede" (Netherlands) and is preserved at the museumdepot of Museum TwentseWelle, Enschede (Netherlands). I work as Volunteer textielconservation at museum TwentseWelle and this dress is one of my favorites.
