Araki Nobuyoshi Araki is widely regarded as Japan's finest photographer (although Daido Moriyama is definitely competition, among many others). His renderings range from suggestive flowers to overt depictions of kinbaku. My favorite of his work is this series of his wife, Yoko, only demi-ironically titled "Sentimental Journey".
Lips - Araki Nobuyoshi's fine art images appear in museums including MOMA, SFMOMA, The Getty, and the Louvre. His work is considered fine art, and meets the criteria of educational and museum quality images of Pinterest ("We do allow works of art and educational pins, like you might see in a museum or classroom."). Araki's work is an important part of the history of fine art and is included in curricula taught in classrooms, schools, and featured on educational tv.
The new minimalistic Solid Ho clock by Paula Collective exhibits the time in an unorthodox manner, by replacing the standard numerals we all love and depend to geometric shapes. The twelve shapes gradually transform and evolve from a tetrahedron to a dodecahedron stellata. Now when you’re late you can apologize for ‘being a square.’
