i heard a very moving story: a famous japanese writer brought a very nice shirt, he wore it every week and washed it only by hands and then ironing it carefully. he took really good care of his shirt so it could last for a lifetime. amazing i thought: he's the one who truly understands clothing, more so than most of the fashion designers today! it's the highest state of knowing what a piece of clothing is meant to be!
