'The flower arranger' by Jeremy Holton From the "Fat Lady' series this painting is in Winsor and Newton Artists Alkyd oil paint on Arches cotton rag paper. The 'Fat Lady' series is a whimsical commentary on relations between the sexes with ambiguous undercurrents. She has a caring love hate relationship with her little men. Here they are her flowers carefully tended and greatly loved but we can see that some have wilted away. In the words of Ned Kelly " Such is life".
