This gorgeous set of enamel decorated opera glasses features two cherubs or putti, one on each barrel. Enameled red roses and other flowers decoration extend around the entire body of the glasses. The background is a stunning ruby red. The metalwork is brass, with mother of pearl eyepieces. They are likely French, and date to the late 1800's. There are no markings or signature indicating their manufacturer. The mechanism properly extends and retracts.
