Floor Time is great way to help promote language development for toddlers. This activity can be done by teachers, parents, or anyone that gets on the floor with the child and talks to them during play time. This activity allows the child and adult to be eye level. Since the adult and child are eye level, it will allow the toddler to model the adults facial expression, make eye contact, and make various speech sounds.
