Ancient Roman bronze coin of Emperor Hadrian, featuring Pegasus. c. 125 C.E.
Gold seal , the pointed oval mount set with a red jasper intaglio of two hands clasped in friendship, surrounded by a Latin inscription in Lombardic script: + SUM SINGUM AMORIS, translating I am the sign of love. At the back of the mount, behind the cross marking the beginning of the inscription there is a suspension loop. Mount and gem 13th century.
