The RMS Rhone is a shipwreck off Salt Island in the British Virgin Islands (note: not Anegada). The Rhone sank in a hurricane in 1867 with the loss of virtually all hands. Today she is one of the most popular wreck dives in the Caribbean, and is frequently voted "best wreck dive in the Caribbean". She was 310 feet long, and when built had the largest propeller in the world (approximately 14 feet across).
