Yaki-Fried Chicken from KFC in Yotsuya. It's new on the menu, but kinda tastes like day-old original recipe reheated in the oven.
The Colonel's Original Recipe is a steady performer in Japan too. You need to reserve in advance if you want KFC for Christmas. In Okinawa, KFC is a staple for many holidays making them the number one KFC-consuming prefecture in Japan.
A tasty little morsel from Shinanoya, this is a minced chicken cutlet. The crunchy bread crumbs make it sound as good as it tastes. Finger lickin' good! (Assuming it's alright to use that since being abandoned by KFC.)
Another shot of KFC. This one is a sampler pack with two different types of chicken.
Yakitori-don a la Shinanoya in Gotanda. Meats from 3 different types on yakitori on rice. Chicken meatballs (tsukune) in the middle, flanked by regular chicken meat and negima (chicken and green onion alternately skewered).
Tsukune chicken meatballs at Iikagenya in Yurakucho.
Homemade chicken teriyaki don. For the sauce I used unagi-no-tare, which is usually for broiled eel, but what the heck, it makes chicken tasty too!
My homemade Italian karaage with a coating of cornmeal, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, parsley and basil. Also some zucchini. Store bought chicken and cheese cutlets too.
Jidori sumibiyaki （charcoal barbequed jidori chicken）at Yamauchi Nojo in Gotanda.
