The USO's 2015 USO Holiday Tour provided a dose of entertainment, fun and holiday cheer to over 3,100 service members and their families at military bases in Italy, Djibouti, Afghanistan, Bahrain and Germany.

Basketball-loving troops recently took to the court and cheered in the stands as they answered the challenge from a team of celebrities, led by Nick Cannon, for a game of hoops, as part of a recent USO Entertainment tour to the Middle East and Germany.

Drowning Pool began giving back to the USO, service members and families in 2005 during a USO entertainment tour to Kuwait. Other USO tours to Iraq, Germany, the United Kingdom and stateside bases followed. Now, 11 years later, the band is preparing to embark on its fifth USO tour, this time to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam on April 6 and Japan’s Kadena Air Base and Camp Foster on April 8 and 9, respectively.

On Monday, the USO teamed up with Jeep to bring the band X Ambassadors to Fort Belvoir to play a pop-up concert for service members and their families. Nearly 50 troops and their families attended the event, which was hosted at USO Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir.

Jaden and Will Smith met with military families and did a surprise performance with DJ Jazzy Jeff and screened their movie, After Earth, at Fort Hood. Click through for more photos!

From teaming up to offer specialized youth programming to selecting service members for on-field salutes, the USO of Illinois and Chicago’s 2014 pro sports teams celebrate, support and entertain troops and their families both on and off of the field.
