Aladdin, Las Vegas, 1975. The original Aladdin replaced a 3-year old motel-casino called Tally Ho in 1966, beginning a series of major renovations and expansions under a series of different owners. It’s major renovation in 1975 was this “29 story tower,” which was actually a 19-story tower that started at floor 11. After two decades, 8 owners and a couple bankruptcies, it was imploded in 1998.
