Kikuo Morimoto is a Japanese silk painter who came to Cambodia in 1994 to learn about traditional weaving and dying methods from the elder women. His dedication to the traditional textiles, their beauty, their makers, and his desire to preserve this art and the diverse ecology of the forest has allowed this weaving community to thrive.
