Van Cleef Arpels - Fée des Lilas clip, Peau d'Âne collection, Inspired by Peau d’Âne's godmother, this clip expresses all the kindness and benevolence of Peau d’Âne's godmother. Faithful to Van Cleef Arpels' tradition of fairy clips that dates from the 1940s, its outline is notable for the ethereal volume and delicate curves of the dress, which forms butterfly wings. 2014

My favorite ballerinas all together in one shot, these three rare brooches by Van Cleef & Arpels were sold at auction at Sotheby's in 2002. Designed by Maurice Duvalet, they were largely inspired by two legendary dancers: the French dancer Maria Camargo and Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. The earliest iterations were set with large rose-cut diamonds reportedly from the Spanish Crown Jewels.
