Builder's photo showing the interior around the bar and lounge area of SP's Cascade Club, a triple-unit articulated diner and lounge used on the SP's New Cascade service between San Francisco and Portland. Pullman-Standard built the car in 1949. Unit 10283 contained the kitchen and crew dormitory, 10284 was the middle dining section, and 10285 was the lounge. Carefully concealed articulation between the diner and lounge gave the impression of a single long, continuous room.

Qantas appointed Australian designer Marc Newson as their creative director in 2005, a position which he held until 2014. Marc is now a brand ambassador for Qantas. Six years after the success of his award winning design – ‘the Skybed Business Class seat’ for Qantas they chose Marc to design the entire cabin interior of their A380 fleet.
