Chocolate and cherries go so well and I'm pretty sure these are Morello cherries, as I've found many other recipes for the Morello/chocolate combo.  The smoothness of these layers is inspiring. Start piping spots of coloured batter as pictured. Pop in the freezer for 10-15 minutes or bake for 3 min.
