Gwangjang Market was Korea's first market and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. Although traditional goods such as silks and satins can be purchased here, one of the market's biggest draws is its food vendors. Don't miss the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and if you're adventurous, try the raw beef. To get there: Jongno 5-ga Station (Subway Line 1, Exit 8) or Euljiro 4-ga Station (Subway Lines 2 and 5, Exit 4).
