Evening dress, Jean-Philippe Worth, circa 1895. Light green silk faille in two parts. Bodice has large puffed white satin sleeves and is trimmed at center front with pearls and cream chiffon at neckline. Trained skirt has split front edged with cream satin and imitation pearls in floral pattern. Via Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Dress, ca. 1880. Chocolate brown silk polonaise bodice dips at the sides to drape and form back bustle. Ten crochet ball buttons, embroidered lace cuffs, tan cotton lining. Cream silk twill skirt with tiny brown floral print, square insert in back of solid brown and bustle ties.
