Roselite ~ Cluster of lustrous, gemmy crystals of Roselite in intensive violet/purple colour on matrix. ~ Morocco.
This 175.1-carat sapphire crystal reveals the typical natural shape of corundum crystals. To obtain the deepest color, gems are oriented so that the top of the cut stone is perpendicular to the length of the crystal. If this corundum crystal was cut, the faceted gems would probably be pink or purple in color. Today, ninety percent of corundum is heat-treated to enhance its color. Bloodshot Iolite. Known as the gemstone of the Vikings, Iolite was used by Norse and Viking explorers as a navigational aid, as a properly oriented stone would change color in relation to the direction of sunlight, allowing for crude navigation in the fog- enshrouded northern Atlantic waters where the direction of the sun was otherwise impossible to discern.
Rhodochrosite on Quartz
titanium aura quartz. Ironic. My symptoms started with an aura and I ended up with a titanium plate affixed to my skull.
