Evocative photographs of Tryweryn village Capel Celyn found
Rare and previously unseen photographs of the village of Capel Celyn near Bala were taken in the early 1960s and have been uncovered 50 years on. They were taken shortly before the Gwynedd community was flooded in 1965 to make way for a controversial reservoir in the Afon Tryweryn valley.
