Tokyo Street Shots: The Living Gallery

There is something about the Yamanote line and its 39 stations that you could miss: the platform tunes vary from station to station, and JR has commissioned somewhere around 100 unique departure melodies for use all over the Tokyo Metro area. You might not think you hear them, but your brain does!

If it weren't for the wear and obvious age of the cars and elevated tracks, you'd be forgiven for judging the Tokyo Monorail as futuristic and technologically marvelous. We now present an inline gallery of 30 “snapshots” from Editor Wordnerd. These below are a mix of RX100 and iPhone 6s Plus shots from the massive Tokyo Motor Show - one of the top 5 auto events on planet earth. And hey, which is better: Gallery #1 from Captain Cameranerd, or this one, from Princess Snapshot?

This year saw a marked increase in non-Japanese cars on the show floor, especially from the bigger houses. With the exception of the 86 and the GT-R, the majority of Japanese tuned vehicles were the same mid-nineties to early-naughties classics (GALLERY #2).

It should be mentioned again: "I’m not too sure I agree with the practice of parading beautiful women around as objects of lust secondary only to the cars themselves, but sports cars are not about thinking with your brain." Wheeeeee!
