A GE-TYPE FOLIATE BOWL DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850) The bowl is delicately moulded with six sides mimicking the petals of an open-form flower, rising to a foliate mouth rim and supported on a short splayed foot. The vessel is covered overall in a crackled pale grey glaze. 4 in. (12.4 cm.) diam.
