Building with rocks...set up on a table and leave for children to manipulate.
The slips of numbers with blanks throughout are a great way for students to learn the sequence of numbers. The slips can either be laminated to where dry erase markers would work, or the magnetic numbers also would work. This could be an activity to integrate sequencing in math.
For this project, the children can use one to one correspondence to match the number of figures with the number noted on the paper. Having the dots color coded to match the figures in also very helpful and teaches colors.
