Che Guevara, one of America's greatest enemies, but to many others a hero. He fought against tyranny in Cuba and even stood up against the greatest power in the world, being such a small country. He was a freedom fighter that fought a revolution and won. His greatest weapon was love.

Elliott Erwitt's Very Own Personal Best

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1950. "This is another favorite early photo of mine taken in Pittsburgh in 1950. Its shows a black boy with a gun to his head. Again, it’s a picture, but you can make out of it whatever you wish. I was there working for Roy Stryker, documenting Pittsburgh as it was about to experience big change. The entire point of Pittsburgh was being demolished for new buildings and Roy (who worked for the FSA) hired me, along with a lot of other photographers, to document it."

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." - Elliott Erwitt To download quotes on Nature and Landscape Photographs visit http://pipafineart.photoshelter.com/gallery/FREE-Life-Love-Quotes-on-Photos/G000014QDX6mYijc

A Cat in Rome, 1959. Elliott Erwitt

Elliott Erwitt | New Rochelle, NY, 1955 A nice domestic scene with his wife and kids. Erwitt's son Misha interviewed him about this photo: Misha: You took a photograph in 1955 of our mother cooking dinner, her back to the camera. She has Ellen, who’s crying, in one arm and she’s reaching into the oven with the other. I 'm sitting behind them in a high chair and there’s another kid standing, watching.
