Iwatayama Monkey Park near Kyoto, Japan. The twenty minute hike up Mt. Arashiyama is littered with signs warning you not to look directly into the monkeys' eyes, for fear of attack. Once up top, you're greeted by about 200 Japanese macaque monkeys, a few park employees, and a caged shack for feeding/souvenir shopping. This particular primate held guard over the 100 yen coin-operated binoculars.
