FLOWERS AND LEAVES - Iran (Safavid), 17th century - A tile in the cuerda seca technique depicting a magnificent all over floral design bordered by cartouches. The tile is coloured with brown, yellow, blue, turquoise, green and white glazes on a dark blue ground.
