Shadow Light · Autumn 20 Seeking to capture the essence of petrichor in Autumn 20 we turned to cognac oil - an ingredient entirely new to Ffern. As a base note, it is dry, green and slightly fruity. When paired with rose, it enhances the flower’s honey-ish tones. The cognac oil we have sourced for Autumn 20 is a byproduct of winemaking in Romania - a land with its own distinctive climate and soil, which gives the cognac oil a certain character.
