A Taste of Okinawa in Osaka: Savoring the Famous Blue Seal Ice Cream | Japan

This is the famous Blue Seal (ブルーシール) Ice Cream, a chain that originated in Okinawa, Japan in 1948. Flavours include traditional ice-cream flavours such as vanilla, mango, mint choc chip and chocolate. However, there are also some special Okinawa flavours such as sugar cane, Ube, and Okinawa Salt Cookie. Some stores also offer soft-serve ice-cream, drinks and small take-out ice-cream tubs. I visited the store in Osaka's Amemura, but you can find Blue Seal Ice-Cream stores all over Japan.
