The sho, the Japanese mouth organ descended from the Chinese sheng, is used in gagaku (court music).
Drums: Highly decorated okedo-daiko style drum used for Gagaku and religious ceremonies. The drum is placed in a ornately carved frame, and are played with short, padded beaters.
