Times New Roman by Pedro Javier Arbelaez. This poster in particular is a favorite of mine. I assume this poster goes through the history of Times New Roman. What's great is that Times New Roman is the only typeface used here. Different sizes and weights are used for hierarchy. I also love how they related the design to a newspaper as well. The type and the design works together smoothly.

Love the simpleness of the design. The repetition and scaling of the image creates a movement and tension. The hierarchy is subtle but well defined.

This poster illustrates how hierarchy plays a vital role in conveying a message to the audience. The title of the event is obviously the dominant element and then the information about the event becomes secondary by changing the typeface as well as the size. the logos of sponsors become the 3rd element that you notice by making them a lot smaller than the type.
